Today you took the STAR test for World History. How do you feel you did? Were you prepared? What could I have done to better prepare you? What could you have done to better prepare yourself? Now is the time to reflect and offer suggestions!
I feel that i knew most of the questions and was able to narrow down the answers to two choices if not just knowing the answer. I think that you prepared us pretty well and i was able to remember most things. The part the was the hardest for me was the maps because i never learned the locations of countries in ninth grade and wish i had. There were about 4 map questions on the test and most just said"what is the blacked out part?". I probably should have reviewed the basic names of the vocabulary that we do for every chapter. It might have helped me a little more, but that was not the main issue. Overall, i think it was a pretty fair section.
History has always been kind of difficult for me. So im not sure if did too good on the STAR test. What i do absorb from class usually exits my brain as soon as i finish the chapter test. So i definitely could have reviewed before and spent more time preparing myself.
I feel I did ok even though history isn't my top subject. I remember learning about some of the things on the test but forgot most of it. We could of reviewed a little more but i feel you did a lot of review for this star test. I could have studied more to better prepare myself.
The history part of the STAR test was easier than expected for me. I finished it pretty quickly and I think that there were only a few questions that were thinkers. I feel that I did really well on the test.
I feel that I did alright on the star test considering that history is not one of my stronger classes. I feel that the format of the test helped a lot because I was able to narrow down the answer rather than having it memorized. Personally I have trouble memorizing sequences in history and had trouble with the questions about what led to certain events or which happened first. I feel like the review in your class helped a lot, as did re-reading my study guides. There is always more studying that I can do though.
for me it was easy. the review forsure helped prepare me for the test. i could have studied a little to do good on them but for not studying i think i did okay.
I felt that the World History portion of the STAR was extremely easy, and that there were only a few questions that were challenging. Therefore, I believe that I did very well and I am eager to receive my scores over the summer. I happen to be excellent at retaining information, so that definitely came in handy when I had to regurgitate facts and details from first semester and early second semester chapters. I felt that perhaps we could have spent some more time in class reviewing the material; however, that practice test was very beneficial. Some of the information covered in the practice test, was also on the STAR. Having that extra credit opportunity was also a great incentive for us to try and think hard about the questions. Overall, I thought that I was well prepared and did fairly well.
I did not take the start test because I was not at school during thursday and friday. I intend to make up the star test when ever they allow me to make it up.
The STAR test seemed easy i thought i was well prepared there was alot of world war 1 so i was happy about that because i did good on that chapter. it was also easy to narrow down to the answers because most of the answers were outrageous and way out there and you could tell which was the right answer on most of the questions
The history STAR was insanley easy. I was prepared and i think i studies enough. It was much easier than the practice test you gave us. it was really easy narrowing down the answers to one and i'm positive i did well.
i think the questions were pretty self explanatory...to be honest i didnt know what to expect but it turned out to be no big deal...i think i did well becasue i was able to narrow down the answers
I feel like the STAR test was much easier than some of hte tests that we have taken in your class. I now realize that despite teh hours we put in for the study guides, they came in handy due to the absolute need for the knowledge of vocabulary. To do better, i should have studied previous study guides more in advance.
i think the test was really easy. i finished real soon, but there were a couple hard ones, like the ones that asked about what did this man do, and there were a lot of questions on stuff we learned in the beginning of the year that i kind of didn't remember. but the star review test helped a lot
i felt like i knew most of the answers but some of them were pretty tricky and i actually had to think about them and use process of elimination to narrow it down to 2 answers. if i wanted to do better i would have looked over the study guides and some of the vocabulary lists to refresh myself from some of the first chapters that we ever did. overall it was a pretty easy section
I felt I did well on the World History STAR test. It was pretty easy and the ones i didn't know I was usually able to narrow it down. I'm good at guessing so that helps. I thought the practice test was helpful because a lot of the questions were similar to the ones on our test. To better prepare myself i could have read over the packets from the chapters.
I feel i did okay. i felt there was a lot on the documents and we didnt go in depth enough on the documents. There were also a few maps and it was hard to memorize all the maps and different countries during the different time periods. i don't think there is any way to prepare better because you don't know what to expect, the only way is to study more in class. History is my hardest class so for me its more difficult than anything else to do well.
I feel like I could have done much better and thought throughout the whole test, "why didn't i read this?" i just felt disappointed because i knew i should know the answer. i wasn't prepared as i would have liked, but i did know most answers. We could have just reviewed more instead of just taking one test and going over the answers. we could have also discussed the answers on that test we took. i could have studied the standard review and read some chapters that i didn't know a lot about.
I felt like I didn't know as much as I could have, it was easy to eliminate most of the answers and then guess so it wasn't too horrible. I think the practice test we took really helped me prepare.
The test was difficult, but you have done all you can to prepare us. It was just straight up a difficult test. I was semi-prepared, but I was kind of winging it, but overall think I did well. I wish I prepared a little bit more, but what's done is done.
I personally didnt know much so i couldnt give alot of effert. If i studyed more by reading the huge book my teacher provides me i probally would have done better for the state ":)
i think i did okay on the test, i was sort of prepared. if i actually studied i think i would of done really well.. your a good teacher! you teach us well you don't need to do anything different.
I thought that the History STAR test was pretty easy and i believe that i did well on it. The only thing that would have helped is if we had reviewed ancient Greek stuff more like Plato and Socrates and all that because i have a hard time remembering things that far back. Overall it was an easy test though.
I felt that you prepared us very well. There were some I knew perfectly, and some i wasnt so sure about, only because i may have forgotten the anwser. I think you are a very good teacher and i have fun while learning in your class.
I think that the STAR test was okay. I feel that we could've been more prepared although I think that the practice test really helped. I think that I should've prepared myself better but it was easy to eliminate some answers which made it easier to guess.

ReplyDeleteit was easy edsall defiantly got destroyed and the review test had similar questions so doing that was a big help
ReplyDeleteI think I did alright... maybe, doing the review was helpful and I did looked at my notes but i guess I could have studied a little more.

ReplyDeleteI felt i did well and i knew alot of it. I think maybe studying for the STAR test earlier would have helped us.
